...I just wrote a drabble of 100 words exactly. On one try. I don't need to change a word!!!

Why the hell did I ever stop doing this? Okay, I was taking a break and having a severe case of writers'-block-60-proof-keeps-from-getting-freckles. But it feels soooo good.

The writing gig. I've told before of their ever-changing requirements. I invariably hear about these way too late in the style of "we've had to correct these things so many times now tut tut". Last time they had a complaint it was to lose the headings and keep the length to around 3000 marks. Now they want more headings and length of 2500-2900! Now ( Read more... )

So I've been getting into Angel (the Series y'know). I have this thing for dead gay detectives, see. And long overcoats billowing in the wind. And moral ambiguities. And worlds with demons, magic and vampires and all that. But most of all, I really have a Big Thing (as in, a wet spot in my knickers) for multifaceted characters with a snarky mouth.
